Bacilio Ruiz, PA-C, is a fellowship trained Physician Assistant in orthopedic surgery. He highlights that one of his strongest skills is his patient care. He has experience in fractures, dislocations, all orthopedic diseases, extensive radiographic readings in X-rays, CTs, and MRIs, and orthopedic trauma surgery.
Bacilio holds a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership from Trident University International in Cypress, California. He then went on to graduate with a Master of Science at Southern California University of Health Science in Whittier, California. Lastly, he became a licensed PA (Physician Assistant) in California and became a member of PAOS (Physician Assistants Orthopedic Surgery).
Bacilio completed a yearlong fellowship at Arrowhead Orthopedics in Colton, CA with additional work experience in Orthopedic Surgery-Trauma at the Institute of Clinical Orthopedics and Neuroscience in Palm Springs, California.
Bacilio enjoys teaching medical students, PA students, and resident physicians rotating on the orthopedic service. He also dedicates his time in teaching PA students at Loma Linda University. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
When Bacilio has free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter. He also enjoys hiking, weight lifting, and competing in jiu-jitsu.
